How to get to PHL
SEPTA’s R1 express train runs regularly between the airport and Downtown. The R1 takes you to Amtrak NJT Station at 30th Street Station, Metro lines at Suburban Station, and the Greyhound Bus Terminal at Market East Station. The local SEPTA bus routes 37, 108 and 115 also regularly stop at the Airport.
Landmarks
If you are traveling with the whole family or are generally interested in animals, you should pay a visit to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was already built in 1874 and is still one of the most popular excursion destinations of the locals. More than 1,300 different animals can be observed here, which originate from all parts of the world and are sometimes even threatened with extinction. The Zoo is particularly known for its variety of different Wildcats, the enclosures have even been significantly expanded in recent years.
